Do you feel helpless, hopeless and afraid?

We care and understand. You are not alone. NAMI Salem County provides information, education and support to individuals with mental illness and to their families. You will find support, education and advocacy at NAMI Salem County.

Our goal is to educate the public about brain disorders that affect 40 million people a year. We are the families, friends and individuals who serve to strengthen communities across Salem County.  We have family members and friends who have been diagnosed with mental illness.  We are the faces and voices of mental illness promoting living well without stigma and discrimination.

Do you know someone with mental illness, perhaps a love one who needs help? At our monthly NAMI meetings we stress compassion, support and knowledge.  These meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month from September to June, at 7:00 p.m. in the Union Presbyterian Church in Carneys Point, NJ. These meetings are free to the public.

There is Help, Hope and Healing -- Contact NAMI Salem County, telephone 609-364-3600.  For Crisis Hotline -- Contact  Healthcare Commons, Inc., telephone 856-299-3001.
